If you haven't heard of Morina Skincare yet, you've been missing out! Mor Rina and I met online through our studies together in cosmetic science. We instantly clicked and, like Mor, I knew that one day our paths would connect again. Fast forward almost two years later, and destiny did indeed bring us back together! When I started looking at local products to add to the Coven Club, Morina's crystal-infused masks were at the top of my list.

1. Can you tell me about your journey with Morina Skincare so far? How did your skincare line start and what inspired it?

The journey so far has been amazing and challenging. 

Launching a new business in the middle of a pandemic was the bravest, or some will say craziest thing, to do. I only envisioned my mission to help people to love their skin. Like every new beginning, there are lots of ups and downs, which only make you stronger and wiser on your journey. 

I realized the power of nature’s gifts and how important emotional wellbeing, balanced nutrition, hormonal harmony &  positive habits are for our skin’s health. They all play an essential role, not only in how we feel but in how our skin glows.

2. What has been your biggest achievement or proudest moment with Morina Skincare?

I’m so grateful for everything so far. Receiving Africa Spa Award as the Natural Product Line for 2021 means everything! The love I get from my clients and the results they see on their skin means the world to me. My husband & 2 boys are the witnesses to most of my happy dances and happy tears when I get customer feedback telling me how much they love their skin after using Morina products.

3. I’m a huge fan of your Rose Quartz masques, what benefits does Rose Quartz have for the skin and soul?

Rose quartz, the stone of beauty and youth, is known to have skin firming and rejuvenating properties. Rose Quartz encourages cell regeneration and self-love and self-acceptance.

I did a lot of testing with making products both with and without crystals and the difference is astonishing. 

4. Do you have a personal favorite product? Why does this product have a special place in your heart?

This is a very hard question. I love, am obsessed, and use all my products according to my skin needs. The one that has a special place in my heart is my hero product ~ Rejuvenate & Revitalize Night Serum. My first product and the one that I think that everyone should try.

5. What does your ultimate Morina skincare ritual look like?

Like every human being, I’m also lazy sometimes or don’t have or find the time or energy. My daily ritual skincare ritual is very simple and looks like this:

In the morning, I wake up my skin with my new Witch Hazel product (launching soon) and then apply my BALANCE Serum using a crystal roller.

Evenings I use my masque collection as a face polish on a DAILY BASIS to clean my skin from dirt, bacteria, and germs from the day. I personally love Detoxifying Masque, many people love Unicorn while my mom is obsessed with Ageless. When I wear makeup, which is rare, I ONLY do the oil cleansing method. I’ve been doing it for years and my skin loves it. 

* Weekly: I apply a face masque 2-3 times a week in the evenings when my skin and mind are relaxed. I alternate the masques from my collection according to my skin’s needs. I sometimes also mix and match the masques on my face. With the years, I’ve learnt to feel what my skin needs.

* After a masque application, I like to combine Rejuvenate & Revitalize Night Serum and BALANCE Serum and then perform a Gua Sha ritual.

Believe in magic.

7. We have recently collaborated on a really exciting gift box. Do you want to share a little more about what readers can expect from our Goddess Glow Box?

Wow, this is something that I’m personally very proud of and something I wanted to create with you from day 1 when I found you. I knew in my heart that it’s only a matter of time until our powers will join forces to create magic together. 

Our goal with the Goddess box is to encourage you to find and celebrate the goddess in you. We believe we are all goddesses inside us that need to be celebrated and cherished. With our goddess box, we bring you everything you need for the perfect skincare ritual- all in one box!

8. What can we expect from Morina Skincare in the future? Any new products on the horizon?

My goal is to get more people to become aware of the magical, yet effective beauty-enhancing powers of nature, to fulfill the growing need for the holistic approach of natural & organic skincare with proven results. Two new products are in development, once they are perfect for the world I will share more info.
